BILLY WILSON #52

My name is Billy Wilson. I am 17 years old and my passion is football. I go to PrimePrep and I enjoy being here. I hope to be successful when i grow up and I am willing to take the necessary steps to do so. I was born in Dallas, Texas and I plan to move when I go to college. My dream is to go to college in the SEC. I feel as if those schools offer everything that I am looking for athletically. I don't know what my future may holds but I will do whatever it takes to make it worth wild.

Was there a bargain pick in this year's draft?

The bargain pick in this years draft will be Le'Veon Bell. Bell was drafted in the second round by the Pittsburg Steelers. Bell was known as a punishing tailback at Michigan State. I think that Bell will fit great in the Steelers' offense. With Pittsburg losing Reshard Mendenhall the Steelers will lean heavily on the impact of the former Michigan State Star.

Is this the Cowboys' time?

We are all used to being disappointed by the Dallas Cowboys. One game they give us a reason to cheer for them and the next week they make us regret we ever liked them. With Tony Romo getting a major contract, maybe we will see some consistency in his play. Lets be honest, we all know he has the talent but we need to see the same talent every game. After all the team is stacked with talent, they just need to showcase it.

Super Bowl in SanFran?

The NFL announced that Super Bowl L will be played in SanFrancisco. Will they disappoint? No one knows. After all that is an amazing city, but is it built for a Super Bowl? All we can do is wait until the time comes.

Controversy in Washington

Lately the football world has been heating up with nonsense that the Washington Redskins are disrespecting people. They claim that the name "Redskins" is racially offensive and needs to be changed. The name Redskins has been accepted for almost 82 years ago and now someone wants to complain. The team is historic and i ncannot remember the last time I heard someone being called a Redskin.

Should He Start?

As we all know the New York Jets have a pedestrian offensive attack. Their running game is just as bad as their passing game. Maybe the rookie can change the culture of that team. Many people think Geno Smith will be a starter but theres few that think that the horrible talents of Mark Sanchez deserve to take the first snap on opening day. With the performance Sanchez put up last year he should be escorted off the team. I beleive if the staff know whats right, they will find a way for Geno to start.

Champion?

Are the Atlanta Falcons set for greatness? They already have the talent. All they need is the will power. Team work makes the dream work and if they work together they can really shake things up.

Is his Career Over?

Many people wonder is Charles Woodson done? Its weird how the future Hall Of Famer has not been picked up yet. Theres plenty of teams in need if DB's its a wonder why he's still on the market.

Will He Make An Impact

Being drafted to the Phiadelphia Eagles many think that Matt Barkley has not even the slightest chance to see the field. After all he didn't have the ideal season everyone thought he will have his senior year. After his junior season many thought he would come out into the N.F.L. draft. I'm not saying he doesn't have the arm, I'm questioning the way he will deal with the spotlight.

A Sleeper?

Da'rick Rodgers may be judged from his irresponsible actions and not his talent. 2 years ago people looked at him as the best WR in the SEC. Some looked at him as being a top 10 pick. Now that he is a undrafted free agent what will he show us? That he has changed or that he is always going to be a problem.

The Best Looking Team On Paper!

In drafting E.J. Manuel, Robert Woods, Marquise Goodwin, and Da'Rick Rogers and already having Stevie Johnson and C.J. Spiller the Bills are looking Pretty good. Are they going to follow trhough with all the hype?

Cowboys????

Many think that the Dallas Cowboys made a bonehead draft pick. Honestly that may be a good pick for them. They needed a center desperately for a run game that suffered last year. The second worse in team history. You can't be a one-dimesional team and win a superbowl.

Playmaker of the Future

The Rams have won in this years draft. They probably have the best playmaker in all of college football. Tavon Austin opened a lot of eyes when he was drafted number 8 over all. The Rams are going to get a player with blazing speed and excellent playmaking ability. Even though he's only 5'8 174 lbs the Rams seen something in him. Will he live up to expectation? Only the future will tell.

Falling in the draft

It is very disapointing to see your draft stock fall before your eyes. Shariff Floyd was supposed to be a top 3 pick instead he watched other D linemen get picked before him. Sure being in the first round is good but he should have a chip on his shoulder. Will he make teams pay? Only the future will tell.

Buccaneers new Pick-up

The "Bucs" had an alright defense last year but with thier new franchise corner they may rise to the top. This weekend Darelle Revis moved to Tampa. With Revis' covering skills and the Bucs D-line they might surprise a lot of offenses. Who knows they may even win the division only time will tell.

Classic in the making

The NFL 2013 scheduele was released this week and its filled with key matchups. The season starts off on a Thursday with the Broncos hosting the Ravens. The Ravens won in their playoff brawl last year. Im sure that lost has not left the Broncos head, in fact the Broncos may get their revenge with their new off-season pick ups. Its a game for the ages and we cannot wait to see it.

Around the CORNER

With the 2013 N.F.L. draft three days away, the Detroit Lions have to make a big decision. They are in deperate need of a corner but the question is, will they draft one? With Dee Miliner being the best corner in the draft the Lions may need to pay him a visit. In a division like the NFC north is is very vital that they do something about their secondary.

The Greatest Play Of All-Time?

Its surprising that the greatest play of all time was 3 years ago. The nation has voted "The Miracle in the Meadowlands 2" the greatest play of all time. I'm sure if you ask Desean Jackson he would agree with the nation. We all remember the Giants being up by double digits in the first half of the game. We also remember Desean Jackson and the Eagles making an amazing comeback leading up to the great play. Sure returning a punt for a TD to win the game not sending it to overtime is great but is it the greatest? Well the nation seems to think so, who am I to disagree?

Should Teams Draft Manti Te'o

We all know of the Manti Te'o story. You know the one that didn't exist. But is that a reason for a team not to draft him? Sure he lied but does that disqaulify his excellent play on the field. After all this guy won the Bednarik award and was a runner up for the Heisman. Before all of the commotion he was considered a top 10 pick in the draft. He didn't have a good showing at the combine but he made up for it by having a good pro day. He shows great technique and can run from sideline to sideline. I'm sure what ever team that drafts him are going to get a player thats going to have a good long career.

Peyton's New Weapon

Theres a new weapon in Denver. His name is Wes Welker. We all know Wes as being Tom Bradys most reliable reciever. Many fans believe that Wes in a perfect fit for Peyton and the Broncos. In fact, experts are already picking them as the Superbowl favorite. Will they make? No one knows, only time will tell.

A Productive Off-Season

It seems like this off-season is one of the best all time. Wheather its Percy Harvin to the Seahawks or Anqaun Boldin to the 49ers, this has been an interestin off-season. Soon the NFL is going to be full of super teams. Teams full of all-pro's and pro-bowlers. And the teams that are left out won't be good for a long time......

The Retirement of a All-Time Great

Ray Lewis is a player that the game will miss greatly. He announced his retirement late in last season. Lewis has been through a lot during his 17 year career. Wheather its the murder trial he went through in 2000 to his Superbowl run late in his career, Ray Lewis has always came out on top. In fact, many people think that him retiring was motivation to win the Superbowl. many believe he's the best linebacker off all-time. He has accomplished many goals, goals that other players dream to accomplish. Maybe he is the best of all-time.

Is RG3 invincible?

During last year's playoff game Robert Griffin suffered a significant injury to his ACL. We know he's working hard in his rehab but the question is will he dominate in next year's season. We all hope he can come back and have the "Adrian Peterson" affect. Peterson tore his ACL and next season he led in all rushing categories. Peterson and Griffin share the same type of competivness so he may be able to do it. RG3 had an amazing rookie season. Its tough to try to beat the sophomore slump and come off a injury..

The emergence of Micheal Crabtree

Crabtree had an ideal season in 2012. He racked up 85 receptions, 1105 yards, and 9 touchdowns. Thats pretty good coming from a former D.W. Carter student. There he played as a run first qauterback breaking all DISD records. From college he went on to be a star at Texas Tech. In his two years the he racked up 231 receptions, 3127 yards and 41 touchdows. Early in his NFL career he was off to a slow start. While battling injuries people didn't look at him the great reciever he was known to be. But this year was different! He finally emerged and drove the 49ers to the Superbowl where they lost to the Baltimore Ravens. Not bad for a kid from Dallas.

HE GOT MOSS'D

This passed football season was epic. It was full of eye popping plays. One play that caught my eye was the acrobatic grab by Cowbow's reciever Dez Bryant. By the look of the defender's position there was nothing he could do. The only thing you can do about a play like that is make sure he doesn't score. That snag really didn't have that much of a impact on the game. With or without the catch I still think the Cowboys would have won but it was nice to see a catch like that on a good sunday afternoon.

Adrian Peterson or Superman

Late in the 2011 season Adrian Peterson suffered a terrible injury. He tore his ACL. Many people, like myself, didn't believe Perterson when he said he was going to be stronger, faster, and better after he comes back from the injury. In fact, Peterson  did exactly what he said. He lead the league in every rushing category and did it in H.O.F. fashion. He was only 9 yards away from the single season rushing record held by Eric Dickerson. One thing we all learned fron Adrian Perterson is always believe what he says.
